Founded in 1923, we have been in business for over eighty-five years as a securities firm and the flagship company of the Okasan Securities Group. The present-day Okasan Securities Co., Ltd., was incorporated in April 2003 in line with the transition of our group to a holding company system. Our community-based approach to consulting and management reflects the importance of maintaining close relationships with our clients. With fifty-nine sales branches nationwide, we employ financial professionals who listen to clients, offer investment and asset management proposals, and provide investment advice tailored to meet the distinct needs of each client.

We recently formulated a new medium-term business plan that became effective in April 2008, and we are presently promoting the development of a series of frameworks for promptly and precisely responding to the asset management needs of our clients.

In accordance with our primary mission to perfect the concept of "Establishing Okasan as an information powerhouse," we continue to upgrade our sales branches as points of direct contact with clients and are working to improve branches that contribute to the local character.
