Okasan Securities Co., Ltd. (the "Company"; Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenichi Tanaka) is pleased to announce that the Company established Muromachi Trading Room. Details are as follows.
1.Object of establishment of trading room
Since the establishment of Muromachi Head Office in January 2011, the Company has been striving to expedite management activities and improve and expand functions for the transmission of investment information through the consolidation of head office functions.
As an additional measure for strengthening the head office functions, the Company established a trading room that provides views of all markets and functions as the integration base for the Company's product and investment management capabilities. The Company will use this facility to build product supply systems that are combined with the functions of collecting and transmitting investment information, thereby enabling each sales base to offer the best products and investment ideas from a global market perspective.
In October 2013, a television studio is also scheduled to be opened on the same floor as the Muromachi Trading Room. Upon completion, the TV studio will be used as a base for transmitting information, which will be part of the Company's efforts to develop systems for providing information in order to "Connect the World with the Sales Offices."

3.Other
With the establishment of Muromachi Trading Room, Trading Division, Financial Products Division, and Proprietary Investment Department will be relocated from the existing Okasan Securities Trading Center (Koto-ku, Tokyo).
