Basic Concept
The Okasan Securities Group has set forth a Human Rights Policy that complies in full with international standards, thereby further strengthening its organizational culture-a culture whose cornerstones include respecting human rights. Through this Policy, the Group seeks to further strengthen its efforts to respect human rights.
Okasan Securities Group Human Rights Policy
1. Commitment to Respecting Human Rights | As a trustworthy corporate group, the Okasan Securities Group conducts its business activities complying with the highest ethical standards and social norms and fulfills its human rights obligations. |

2. Compliance with International Standards | The Okasan Securities Group complies with laws and regulations that apply in each of the regions in which the Group conducts its business activities. The Group honors various internationally recognized human rights standards, including the International Bill of Human Rights, the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct, and the Children's Rights and Business Principles. |
3. Scope of Application | The Policy applies to all officers and employees of the Okasan Securities Group. The Group also expects its stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to follow suit. |

6. Respect for Human Rights of Our Suppliers | The Okasan Securities Group shares its ethos of respecting human rights with its business partners and with all third parties with whom it works and expresses the clear expectation that they will follow suit. |
7. Human Rights Due Diligence | The Okasan Securities Group implements human rights due diligence measures to prevent or mitigate adverse human rights impacts associated with its business activities. |
8. Remedy | The Okasan Securities Group is committed to taking appropriate measures to remediate any adverse impact on human rights which it caused or to which it clearly contributed. |
9. Training and Education | The Okasan Securities Group is committed to promoting and deepening the knowledge and understanding of human rights among all officers and employees to eliminate any human rights violation. |
10. Governance | The Okasan Securities Group efforts related to human rights are reported to the Board of Directors following deliberations within the Sustainability Committee and at the Management Conference. This Human Rights Policy has been approved by the Board of Directors and will be revised as necessary. |
11. Stakeholder Engagement | The Okasan Securities Group understands the importance of dialogue with its stakeholders in implementing this Policy. |
12. Information Disclosures | The Okasan Securities Group seeks to ensure that all its stakeholders have a clear understanding of the human rights efforts made by the Group, by disclosing the information via its website and other media and channels. |
Human Rights Awareness Activities
The Okasan Securities Group recognizes the need for continued commitment and the importance to have an ownership mindset towards human rights issues, while cultivating deep understanding among its officers and employees. The Group provides employee training on human rights for all officers and employees, focusing on the understanding and awareness of "the corporate responsibility to respect human rights" and "the Okasan Security Group's Human Rights Policy," as "Business and Human Rights" has been the focal point for FYE2025. At Okasan Securities Co., Ltd., improving human rights awareness, including various harassment, are addressed every year during management training, and all officers and employees complete E-learning courses. Employee training includes the response procedures managers should follow in case reports or consultations regarding harassment are made.
Remedy
The Okasan Securities Group provides contact points for harassment and internal reports, where consultations on human rights and other matters are available, enabling our officers and employees to make anonymous reports while ensuring confidentiality. Contact points for consultations or human rights complaints raised by our customers are dealt with through the Customer Support Office.
