Our company was founded in Kyoguchi-machi, Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, on April 4, 1923. We were incorporated in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, on August 25, 1944, when we became Okasan Securities Co., Ltd. (with 180,000 yen in capital). In October 1, 2003, Okasan Holdings, Inc., was established in line with the transformation of the company into a holding company. In October 2008, the company name was changed to Okasan Securities Group Inc.

How would you describe your transition to a holding company?
On our eightieth anniversary, we made the transition to a holding company with the aim of taking a significant leap forward by enhancing management freedom and improving the efficiency of capital within the entire group.
